American Babylon Collection

Roger Watkins was the director of Last House on Dead End Street and one of the most talented filmmakers to bring his unique vision and subversive genius to the world of adult cinema. Known for providing multi-layered, intelligent, albeit highly nihilistic narratives, his films are regarded as both subversive and transcendental of adult film genre trappings. American Babylon (1985, Tish Ambrose, Michael Gaunt, Bobby Astyr, Chelsea Blake, Taija Rae, George Payne) is a savage, comical critique of the bleak reality of suburban American lifestyles. This collection includes a new 63 minute 4k scan of American Babylon from a rare 35mm print and the complete 79 minute standard definition version from VHS. Bonus Roger Watkin's film Decadence (1988, 77 min. Cassandra Leigh, Tish Ambrose, Taija Rae, Barbie Dahl, Ashley Welles, Dave Ruby, Michael Gaunt) and a trailer for Her Name Was Lisa (1979) are also included.
